THE ADEQUATE LOVER by Horatio Nad.

I discovered this book in my early teens. Rumours had gone round my school of literary titillation for hormone-drenched youngsters. This turned out to be more shocking than I could ever have conceived.

This is a naughty masterpiece. A great work by a very challenging writer. He makes Jilly Cooper seem like Beatrix Potter and puts to shame every wonderful Woman's Weekly classic that I have ever cut out and stuck in my book!

Chapter one: Aim for the stars...Bingo Hall romance. This introduces us to the characters that we get to love, loathe and, eventually, meet again in his sequel (The Glamorous Gonad). Cherry Tango is the beautiful and seductive heroine of this novel and she becomes entrapped in an affair with a tennis racquet stringer called Tyrone Gip.

Chapter two: Better than nothing

Chapter three four and five blend in with six and seven. These chapters go into great detail what goes on when these two steal time together. Exciting shopping trips to Maplin's and Carpet World. We watch them captivated with tiles and our hearts beat along with them as they watch afternoon television together.

In conclusion, this steamy novel is fit only for those with open minds. It taught me a thing or two about the world, I can tell you. My life became exciting because of "The Adequate Lover".
